Job description 每This person would have high involvement &ownership in major accounts with a fair amount of independent handling & would be reporting to the Group head 每 will have 2-3 people reporting to him to carry out requisite functions. Will be responsible for maintaining the high level of research delivery and further strengthening the relationship by visiting the client for presentations etc. 每 should be confident in presenting to large audiences with senior marketing clients. Should have very good client servicing and account management skills coupled with strong analytical skills.

Skills looking for:

 Should have proven Market Research knowledge.

         Should have done studies across various categories and ranges of products.

         Should have demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and develop business. Should be able to consult the clients on other research areas and recommend solutions.

         Should be able to manage the following tasks without any supervision 每 various types of proposal writing, questionnaire, field brief, analysis plan, and presentation.

         Should be able to develop business as support in all sales efforts.

         Manage the profitability and growth of Adhoc customized projects.

         Should have Strong presentation and interpersonal communications skills.  Support projects to ensure that all presentations are of ※best in class§ standard and ensure high level of insights.

         Should have experience in managing a team of 2 or more people. Should possess strong skills in leadership and team management, including staff development.

         Should act as an advisor and source of technical advice to members of his/her team or office.

         Should be able to deal effectively with pressure, maintaining persistence and focus.

         Should have the ability to develop new ideas & initiatives to promote AMRB among existing & new clients.

         Should be able to manage all accounts in portfolio as support role- handling of receivables etc.

         Promote the company through articles in the media if required.

         Should be able to adapts and respond to changing conditions, modifying behavior and work style as necessary.

You will be responsible for the smooth execution of projects assigned, from the stage of client briefing to the final stage of report writing and presentation of results.

  • Design and plan research projects following client briefing and needs
  • Assist in developing business with new and existing clients
  • Designs questionnaires and methodologies of collecting information
  • Co-ordinates the execution of projects, informs clients on progress and gives specific instructions to other departments regarding the collection and electronic processing of information

Main Responsibilities:

  • Involved in setting of Annual Budget/Plan and its execution.
  • Strategic planning/ forecasting.
  • Provide expert advice to client on business strategy and planning.
  • Translates strategic goals and objectives into specific programs.
  • Meeting targets and working towards having an overall commercial business
    focus.
  • Initiate and/or take an active role in the implementation of corporate programs, which may be necessary to further goal and objectives of the Company.
  • Supervise quantitative research projects across research teams.
  • Direct the team's efforts in the most effective use of analytic processes and research methodologies to address client's business issues.
  • Training & development of the team on operational and research issues.
  • Formulating the individual staff (manager/executive) career development plan as well as professional development plan.
  • Recommend personnel actions in terms of recruitment, training, promotion, salary review or disciplinary action.
  • Co-ordinate and control the implementation of the annual performance appraisal together with General Manager.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years working experience in research experience in research business at least 2 of which in a management position.
  • Working experience across multiple product categories using a cross section of market research techniques and products.
  • Excellent client management, business and account management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated management experience, covering both staff and commercial management.
  • Strong leadership, good people skills, excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in working closely with cross-functional and multi-national teams especially business and senior management.
